Fans of the PlayStation 2 classic might have known that a film adaption of Persona 3 was in the works since mid-2012. However, that was the most information given out. Until now.

While we still donโ€™t have a lot to go on, we do know that Japan will be seeing the movie sometime in 2013. There hasnโ€™t been any mention of a release over here but Iโ€™m sure weโ€™ll see an English release not long after its Japanese release. Until then, there is this trailer for the upcoming film on the Destructoid site.

Whoโ€™s excited to see a film version ofย Persona 3? I know I am. Especially if they find a way to incorporate the female main character from the PSP port.
