MotorStorm: Apocalypse, developed by Evolution Studios, has been delayed in North America.  Originally set for release April 12, 2011, Sony announced the delay Friday.

The Asian and European release dates had already been pushed back, with Sony citing the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.  The game did launch on March 17th in Australia, but Sony has since pulled advertising for the game and stopped new shipments to retailers.  Sony gave no information regarding the new release dates.

MotorStorm: Apocalypse is set in a city devastated by natural disasters.
