Everyone who’s played a Call of Duty game knows that the new versions always come packed with new features. Sometimes, those new features are a little underwhelming (looking at you, Black Ops) but sometimes they totally revolutionize the experience. Call of Duty: Ghosts is one of those revolutionary ones and I can’t wait to tell you all about it. Here are our top ten most exciting changes in the latest version and why we think they’re awesome:
Call of Duty: Ghosts introduces a brand new story, game mode, and characters.
The story of Call of Duty: Ghosts is set in a dystopian future where the world has been ravaged by a cataclysmic event. Players take on the role of Logan and his brothers as they work to become part of the elite group known as Team Ghost. The game introduces new characters, weapons, perks, and customization elements that create an entirely new experience for fans of the series.
Call of Duty: Ghosts also includes a brand new game mode called Extinction that combines aspects from both multiplayer and single player into an all-new action-packed experience!
The brand new game mode is called Extinction.
Extinction is a new game mode that can be played with up to four players. The story in Extinction takes place after the events of the campaign, where a massive alien invasion has left your planet in ruins. You’ll play as members of an elite squad who are tasked with infiltrating an underground alien hive and exterminating it, one hive at a time.
This all sounds pretty cool, but what does it actually mean for you? Well…
In Extinction, the object is to fight off aliens.
In Extinction, the object is to fight off aliens. The game is about fighting off aliens. You’re protecting the world from aliens. You’re saving the world from aliens. Aliens are threatening humanity by taking over the planet and destroying everything in their path, so you need to stop them before it’s too late!
Extinction can be played in co-op by up to four players.
Extinction is a new game mode in Call of Duty Ghosts which can be played solo or with up to four players. The game mode is set on the planet Cryptid, where you have to destroy alien nests and capture their eggs. There are five classes of Cryptid aliens: the Grims, Atlases, Hives, Furies and Elementals. You will start off with one weapon that you must use to kill these creatures before being able to upgrade your weapons through weapon crates or buying them from the armory using credits that are earned from killing cryptids or completing challenges.
This mode has some similarities with Zombies but still retains it’s own identity by having its own objectives and play style as well as many new features such as call-in strikes which are like airstrikes except they’re more guided missiles than bombs dropped from planes; gliders which allow you to glide down gently onto areas close by; ziplines that let you travel quickly across great distances without worrying about falling off; earthquake machines which shake up everything nearby; exo suit powers such as cloaking yourself so no one can see or hear anything unless it’s within a certain distance away from them (this power can only last for 30 seconds).
The soldier you’re in charge of is fully customizable.
You will be able to customize your soldier. You can choose the gender, head, face and body of your soldier. This also includes clothing and weapon selection!
You can customize your soldiers appearance and weapons.

There are many ways to customize your soldier’s appearance, including new camos for you weapons, uniforms and headgear.
The multiplayer has all sorts of new modes and options.
Multiplayer has all sorts of new modes and options. Call of Duty: Ghosts features a brand-new mode called Squads, where you can play with friends in an 8 vs 8 multiplayer experience. The gameplay is similar to the popular Zombies mode and involves four players fighting alongside one another in co-op missions.
Squads also includes Clan Wars, a new website where clans can track their stats and achievements throughout the campaign and post them on social media sites like Facebook or Twitter. It’s a great way for friends to keep up with each other even when they’re not playing together!
There are many other exciting changes as well, including weapon customization (players can customize their weapons by adding attachments), perks (players can choose from an expanded list of perks), new game modes including Blitz (a fast paced variant of Team Deathmatch), Search & Destroy (which returns from past installments)
Squads pits your customized squad against other player’s squads for practice or for competition.
In Squads, you can play with up to 4 people at a time—that’s double the amount of teammates you used to have in multiplayer. You can play with your friends or with strangers, so it’s easy to find people who are around your level and ready for some competition.
Another cool thing about Squads is the ability to play against other squads instead of just individuals like you can in Multiplayer and Zombies modes. This helps increase competition between squads that might be similar in size or skill level by making every battle more interesting!
There’s also a Clan Wars mode where you can go up against other clans in weekly competitions for prizes.
Clan Wars is a weekly competition between clans. If you’re part of a clan, you’ll be able to participate in Clan Wars by joining up with your clan and playing specific game modes against other clans for prizes.
There are over 30 new weapons to choose from, from sniper rifles to shotguns to silenced submachine guns.
There are over 30 new weapons to choose from, from sniper rifles to shotguns to silenced submachine guns. Each weapon’s capabilities are as varied as their specifications, so think carefully about your options before making a selection.
The sniper rifle is powerful and slow, but can kill or incapacitate foes at long range with one shot. The shotgun is powerful but short range and has a tight spread pattern that makes it effective in close quarters combat, or when used at the right distance against exposed targets. The submachine gun is powerful yet short-ranged—but because of its small magazine size and low rate of fire it may be difficult to use effectively at close range unless you get lucky with your shots. The suppressed SMG fires slowly but quietly (making it perfect for stealthy players), however this means that you’ll need to pull the trigger several times before killing any enemies (or else reloading).
New perks give you more control over your character than ever before including the ability to customize weapons on-the-fly.
This is an exciting change for Call of Duty fans. If you’ve ever wanted to customize your character, this is your chance. The new perks give players more control over their characters than ever before, including the ability to customize weapons on-the-fly. You can now add or remove attachments with just a few button presses and instantly see how that affects your weapon’s stats in real time!
New perks include ‘tactical mask’, which allows you to find enemy locations faster by displaying footsteps or movement sounds around corners as icons above doors and walls; or ‘injector’ which gives you extra health every time it activates (you’ll be able to tell when it’s ready because your health will flash green). Other perks include ‘explosive rounds’ for shotguns which increases splash damage; or ‘fast hands’ which allows you quick swap between two single handed guns at any time during gameplay
