Introduction
Video games have been around for decades. It’s been a long time since Pong and Pac-Man were first released, but video games are as fun now as they ever were. Today, we’re going to take a look at some of the most popular video games of all time. We’ll cover everything from early arcade games to modern masterpieces.
Grand Theft Auto V
You will be able to explore a large city and its surrounding areas, which includes three different cities, the countryside and mountains. The game features all of this and more. The story follows three criminals: Franklin Clinton, Michael De Santa and Trevor Philips who all live in Los Santos (the main city). You can switch between these characters at any time during gameplay. The main aim of GTAV is to complete missions for various characters in order to move forward with your game play as there is no set goal or objective at the beginning of the game. Players can also complete side quests which will reward them with money and other rewards like special vehicles that can be used during future missions.
The Witcher III: Wild Hunt
The Witcher III: Wild Hunt is an action role-playing video game developed by CD Projekt RED and published by CD Projekt. It is the sequel to the 2011 video game The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.
In The Witcher 3, you play as Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter who travels across the Northern Kingdoms (a fictionalized version of Europe) in search of his ward, Ciri. Aided by new blood magic powers and his signature silver sword called Sihill, Geralt’s objective is to find Ciri before she reaches too old for him to be able to protect her from those who seek her out for their own nefarious reasons. The game takes place on two continents: one is known as No Man’s Land (noodles), while another contains several islands known as Skellige Isles – both are full of colorful characters that complement each other perfectly throughout your journey through these lands.
Red Dead Redemption
Released in 2010, Red Dead Redemption is an open world third person shooter game. It was rated 18+.
It was the best selling video game of the year and best selling video game of the decade. It has also been rated as the highest rated game ever on Metacritic with a score of 96 out of 100 based on 45 reviews by critics; Metacritic ranks it as #25 in their list of all-time highest rated games.
It was listed at #10 on IGN’s list of top 100 games, while GamesRadar ranked it at #1 on their list of most influential games ever made, calling it “the best western since Clint Eastwood stared down his black hat.”
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
- Gameplay: The gameplay is unique and engaging. You can play as many different types of characters, including a dog and a cardboard box. The mission structure is nonlinear, so you have the freedom to approach each situation in your own way (but there are some restrictions). It’s also possible to choose whether or not to kill anyone during missions, which makes it feel more like you’re playing an open-world game instead of just following a set path through someone else’s story.
- Story: The original Metal Gear Solid told an intriguing spy thriller story with excellent voice acting and cinematic cutscenes that showed off its cutting-edge graphics for the time. MGSV takes place after Metal Gear Solid 4 ends but before Ground Zeroes begins—so it doesn’t really matter if you haven’t played them yet but want to start with this one! Whatever happens in those two games isn’t necessary knowledge here; what matters is how this game stands up alone without needing any other context around it first…
Resident Evil 4
What is Resident Evil 4 about?
A lot of things. The game follows Leon Kennedy as he tries to rescue the President’s daughter from an evil cult in rural Spain. It’s an action-packed, third-person shooter that pits players against hordes of enemies, including crowds of zombies and horrifying monsters. As Leon, you’ll use a variety of weapons and items to shoot your way through hordes of enemies and solve puzzles in order to progress through the game’s story—and escape from it alive.
What makes Resident Evil 4 so good?
The first thing we loved about this game was its creepy atmosphere: it takes place in a small village full of zombies who want nothing more than to eat you alive (or worse). But Resident Evil 4 isn’t just scary because it has scary monsters–there are also plenty of other elements that make this game fun to play over and over again: its challenging gameplay; its interesting story; its unique combat system; how much fun it is killing zombies with fire axes (we’ll get back to this one later); how addicting collecting all those treasures can be….

God of War II follows Kratos who has now become a legendary warrior after defeating Ares, the God of War; however it’s not enough for him to just have killed Ares because he is still haunted by nightmares about his past. The story picks up from where its predecessor left off though this time around you get to see how Kratos became the man he is today through flashbacks at various points in time throughout your journey through Greece which takes place before he killed his family and was given his powers by Ares.
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a great game for all ages and skill levels. It’s simple enough for kids to play, but has enough depth that adults will enjoy it too. It can be played by yourself or with friends, which makes this the perfect party game.
It also features an attractive art style and some challenging gameplay if you want an extra challenge!
Minecraft
Minecraft is a sandbox video game created by Swedish game designer Markus Persson, and later fully developed and published by Mojang. The game allows players to build with a variety of different blocks in a 3D procedurally generated world, requiring creativity from players. Other activities in the game include exploration, gathering resources like ores and food, crafting various items, brewing potions and interacting with intelligent mobs.
The concept for Minecraft was first developed during the early days of Mojang but only gained traction after being posted online as a prototype called “Cave Game”. Its popularity steadily increased over the next few years until reaching 25 million registered users in 2014 who played 1 billion hours that year alone. An improved version was released the following year on November 18th 2015 which included new features such as biomes and multiplayer capabilities amongst others improvements on what had become known as “Minecraft Classic”.
Video games are awesome!
Video games are awesome. They’re a great way to spend time, and they can be a great way to have fun, socialize, learn new things and relax.
Conclusion
While many of these games had strong narratives, what’s most important is that they were all fun to play. As a result, they’ve become classics in the industry and are still played today! The point being is that it doesn’t really matter what kind of game you like or if other people don’t agree with your choices. If YOU find something enjoyable, then that’s all that really matters!
