XSEED Games Announces Five New Localizations

It looks like 2013 is going to be quite a busy year for XSEED Games. The publisher announced today that they are bringing five big name titles stateside. This is in addition to the recently announced Pandora’s Tower for the Wii. You can check out the four new titles below.

 Rune Factory 4

Set to come out this Summer for the 3DS, Rune Factory 4 adds some new romance options plus the ability to choose between a male or female character. You take on the role of a prince (or princess) whose job is to manage a village by working with the townfolks and taming monsters in the countryside. For those who enjoy gathering, crafting, and cooking, Rune Factory 4 will have endless opportunities for you.

Valhalla Knights 3

Valhalla Knights 3, the sequel to Valhalla Knights 2, is set for a release this Fall for the PlayStation Vita. Featuring  seven-on-seven party-based combat and massive character creation, players can fight alongside six other party members or take on foes by themselves. With twenty different job classes to choose from (in addition to being able to equip up to two sub-jobs), players should be able to create a powerful character to use.

 Ys: Memories of Celceta

This Vita re-imagining of Ys IV, Ys: Memories of Celceta brings one of the previously Japan-exclusive titles stateside sometime this Fall. You play as Adol Christin as he travels the world alone in search of his memories on how he arrived in the strange land. Ys: Memories of Celceta also features the largest non-linear world in the series as well as cramming more monsters on the screen than ever before.

Ys I & II Chronicles+

Continuing with bringing remakes of the older Ys titles to PCs via Steam, XSEED Games is publishing the enhanced remakes of the first two Ys titles. Learn more about Adol Christin as he set off to uncover the mysteries of the lost land Ys and vanquish the evil plaguing Esteria. Ys fans won’t have long to wait as Ys I & II Chronicles+ will be released on Steam in February this year.

KILLER IS DEAD

Created by the highly regarded SUDA51, KILLER IS DEAD puts players in the shoes of Mondo Zappa, an executioner that wields a Japanese sword in one have and interchangeable ones in his artificial one, as he executes many heinous criminals across the world and perhaps even further out. SUDA51 teams up with GRASSHOPPER MANUFACTURE and KADOKAWA GAMES to bring unique graphics and stylish action to both the PS3 and Xbox 360. Gamers can expect to get their hands on this fast=paced action title in Summer of 2013.
