Wadjet Eye Games’ Four-Game Blackwell Series Debuts on Steam

Wadjet Eye Games, an indie developer, announced today that the long-running point-and-click adventure series Blackwell are now available on Steam. The PC titles can be purchased individually, or as a bundle for $19.99. To celebrate the launch, Steam is offering a 25% discount which brings the bundle price down to $14.99. The discount will last until January 20th.

The Blackwell series stars the young Rosa Blackwell, an antisocial writer and reluctant spirit medium, and a ghost tied to Rosa due to a mysterious family legacy named Joey Mallone. The duo work together to solve questionable deaths and help guide wayward spirits to the other side in modern day New York City. Players can jump into any of the titles to experience the self-contained stories within each, or play all four to fully enjoy the interconnecting story arc that encompasses the entire series.

Wadjet Eye Games’ Blackwell series features a mature storytelling adventure with graphics nostalgic to the point-and-click classics made by Sierra and LucasArts. The gameplay requires gamers to use the abilities of both Rosa and Joey to solve the many puzzles. Each entry in the series supports Steam cloud save support, achievements, and optional developer commentary (including a “Five Years Later” one on the first installment, Blackwell Legacy).

You can find the titles on Steam via these links: Blackwell Legacy, Blackwell Unbound, Blackwell Convergence, and Blackwell Deception. You can view screenshots from each entry in the gallery below.
