Top 10 Fun Flash Games To Kill Some Time

Introduction

If you’re like me, you spend a lot of time in your office (or wherever it is that you work) surfing the web. And at some point each day, I find myself with a lull in my productivity and turn to casual games to kill some time. I know some of them are pretty old and others have been played by just about everybody, but these games really do the trick for me whether I need a quick break or just something to help pass the time. So here’s my list of flash games that’ll be sure to keep even the most jaded gamer entertained for a while:

10. Bloons

Bloons is a tower defense game where you play as a monkey who is trying to protect his land from invading balloons. The balloons are called bloons, hence the name of the game. The object of this game is to keep those evil balloons from getting past your defenses and destroying your city or temple. There are many different types of bloons and each has their own unique abilities that make them harder to defeat than others. There are also upgrades for weapons and towers, making any level more challenging than before.

9. Kingdom Rush

Kingdom Rush is a tower defense game that can be played for free. You can buy items with gold, and you can use gems to buy more gold.

The most important thing to know about this game is that there are two types of currency: gold and gems. One way to get gems is to buy them with real money, but if you want more than just a few hundred gems at a time (and don’t feel like spending any money), there’s an option in the app store called “GameCoin” which will double your gem count every eight hours or so—for free!

8. Crush the Castle Adventures

Crush the Castle Adventures is a flash game where you must defend your castle from the invading army. You can use a variety of weapons, including cannons, wizards, and even a dragon. There are over 50 levels to play, and you can unlock new weapons and upgrades as you progress.

7. Gun Mayhem 2

You are an elite soldier and you have to shoot at the baloons. You can use your magic powers to shoot and destroy them. Use Spacebar to activate your magic powers. You only have 5 lives so be careful not to lose them all in the first level. There are 4 more levels that you can play after completing this one.

6. The Escapist

The Escapist is a flash game where your goal is to escape from prison.

You can play as many times as you want, and it’s free to play on your computer or mobile device!

The Escapist is one of my favorite games because it has so many different levels and I’ve never gotten bored of playing it.

5. Desktop Tower Defense

Desktop Tower Defense is a really fun game to play. You can play it on your desktop, on your android device, on your iphone and ipad, or even on your mac! The game has been created by a developer named “Alien Pixel Studios”

The goal of the game is to defend your computer from evil viruses. You have different kinds of towers that shoot at the viruses as they come towards them. The purpose is simple: you have to kill all the viruses before they reach their destination which would be your computer’s RAM (Random Access Memory).

4. Portal The Flash Version

Portal is a puzzle-platform video game developed and published by Valve Corporation. It was released in 2007, via digital distribution; the PC version of the game was released in 2008 and the Xbox 360 version in 2011. A PlayStation 3 version of Portal had been announced, but has since been canceled. The game consists of a series of puzzles that the player must solve by teleporting the character and simple objects using the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device (ASHPD), a device which can create inter-spatial portals between flat planes by firing it at two surfaces to create an exit portal on one side and an entrance portal on another.[1] The ASHPD can also be used to pick up certain objects or move them through portals. The goal is generally to reach each level’s exit chamber by walking through various test chambers while solving puzzles with lasers and other devices within various Aperture Laboratories research facilities.[2][3]

3. Toss the Turtle

Toss the Turtle is a fun, albeit simple, game where you have to toss a turtle in space. The goal of the game is to get as many points as possible by tossing your turtle into objects and getting it to fly through rings that appear.

The game plays like your standard arcade-style game, so there are no complex controls or anything like that. All you do is move around with arrow keys and press spacebar when prompted by an icon on screen. There are three types of objects that you can hit with different points values: 50 points for hitting a starfish; 100 points for hitting a balloon; 200 points for hitting an eggplant (or whatever that is). Hitting any other object will result in zero points being awarded to you.

There isn’t much story or plot here because it doesn’t need one—it just needs to be fun enough so players want more! And boy does it deliver on this front! You see the protagonist turtle trying his best but failing miserably at first due to his limited throwing ability; however as he keeps playing he starts getting better at throwing farther distances until eventually making contact with all three types of objects mentioned above along with other obstacles such as rocks or windmills which also yield varying point values depending on distance from landing site etcetera…

2. Canabalt

  • Canabalt (2009)

This is one of my favorite flash games and I can’t wait to play it again. It’s a 2D side-scrolling runner game in which you have to run, jump over obstacles and collect power-ups while avoiding enemies that are trying to kill you. But don’t worry! You won’t really die because this game has infinite levels so there is no chance that it will make you bored out of your mind like other similar games do after a short time playing them. It may sound simple but the truth is that this simple concept can be very addictive when played with a good soundtrack in the background so try it out now!

1. The World’s Hardest Game

  • The World’s Hardest Game

This is a flash game that takes place in a room with a small guy who has to jump over stuff. The gameplay is pretty simple: you just have to try and get the guy through each level of the game without dying. There are different obstacles that can kill him, like spikes, fireballs and acid puddles.

The game has three different modes: Normal mode, Classic mode and Extreme mode (Extreme mode is unlocked after beating Normal mode). The levels in Normal mode are fairly easy but some of them will take some time before you can beat them! It also has an online leaderboard where people around the world compete with each other for high scores on different levels in this game!

So whether you’re waiting for your friends to get online, sitting in class, or just bored and looking for something new to play, any of these games will provide a little something for everyone to enjoy.

Flash games are a great way to pass the time, relax and have fun. You can play them alone or with friends, from anywhere in the world. The best part is that these days most of them are free! There’s no reason not to try out at least one of these top 10 flash games and see if you enjoy it too!

Conclusion

Even though some of the games on this list are a bit “old school”, the fact remains that there are still many people playing these games today. Whether it’s because they’re nostalgic for certain titles, or just looking for something new to play, there’s bound to be an option for everyone!
