With over hundreds of thousands of video games to choose from, everyone has their own favorite—the ones they could play over and over again. So we rounded up some of our users’ most beloved titles, along with some great games that you may have missed. Check out the entire list here…

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Breath of the Wild, is an action-adventure game developed by Nintendo and published by Nintendo for the Wii U. It is the 19th main installment in The Legend of Zelda series and was released worldwide on March 3rd, 2017. The game breaks with long-standing conventions of previous entries in favour of a more open world design, one which has been universally praised as one of gaming’s greatest accomplishments so far.

The first thing that you’ll notice about Breath of the Wild is that it’s gorgeous: everything from lighting effects to particle effects look super realistic and help immerse yourself into this world. The story starts off with Link waking up from a deep sleep after 100 years have passed since he fell into slumber at the start of Skyward Sword (the last Zelda game) at Lake Hylia. You’re free to explore anywhere around Hyrule Castle Town or Hateno Village but there are also many hidden areas where you can find treasure chests filled with valuable items such as weapons or shields.

Final Fantasy VII is a role-playing video game developed by Square (now Square Enix) and released in 1997. It is the seventh main installment in the Final Fantasy series. The game takes place on an unnamed planet where it has been split into two warring nations: one rich and technologically advanced, while the other poor and underdeveloped. Shinra Electric Power Company, a powerful corporation that controls both sectors, is draining away their shared life force known as “Mako”, which can be used to power machines such as Mako Reactors or SOLDIERs (soldiers equipped with super powers).

The protagonist of Final Fantasy VII is Cloud Strife, a mercenary who joins up with Avalanche—an eco-terrorist group—to get revenge on Shinra for killing his friend Tifa Lockhart’s father during the Nibelheim incident seven years prior to events in Final Fantasy VII. After learning about Sephiroth’s plans for Cloud after discovering his identity as Kadaj – one of Sephiroth’s clones created from Jenova cells – Tifa helps him stop Sephiroth before he uses Meteor to destroy all life on earth.

Half-Life 2

Half-Life 2, the second game of a trilogy, is set in City 17. The game was released in 2004 and developed by Valve Corporation. It is a first-person shooter that takes place after the events of Half-Life (1998). In addition to its single player mode, it also has multiplayer options such as deathmatch and capture the flag modes.

The protagonist of Half-Life 2 is Gordon Freeman who works at Black Mesa Research Facility where he studies how to manipulate matter at a subatomic level with his friend Eli Vance. During an experiment gone wrong, Gordon witnesses several aliens emerging from portals near Earth who attack humans and destroy their places of work before taking them prisoner with their teleport technology.

In order to stop these attacks on humanity by eliminating all lifeforms on planet Earth using nuclear weapons while also rescuing fellow scientists imprisoned by aliens as well as stopping further experimentation on human beings by aliens themselves; Gordon sets out on his journey through various locations including city 17 which serves as both home base for resistance fighters against Combine rule (humanoid creatures created from other species)

Red Dead Redemption 2

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an open world action-adventure game developed by Rockstar Games. The game is set in the year 1911, and the player controls the protagonist Arthur Morgan who is a member of Dutch van der Linde’s gang.

The game follows an outlaw attempting to escape his past while being pursued by federal agents, bounty hunters and outlaws on America’s western frontier.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a fantasy open world action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the fifth installment in The Elder Scrolls series and was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 11, 2011. Set two hundred years after Oblivion, it follows the story of Dovahkiin (dragon born), a person with the power of dragons born into human form who must save their land from an ancient evil that returns to conquer it once again.

This game has a huge world to explore with many different sidequests to complete as you go along and over 100 hours of gameplay available if you want to fully explore all there is in this game! There are so many mods out there for this game that add new weapons or armor sets but also change how certain aspects work such as combat or magic skills etc..

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is an action-adventure stealth video game developed by Kojima Productions and published by Konami for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows (via Steam). It was released worldwide on September 1, 2015 to critical acclaim.

The story takes place in 1984 during the Soviet War in Afghanistan as Venom Snake goes through a series of missions to help Diamond Dogs grow from their humble beginnings as a Diamond Dog Mother Base into a thriving Private Military Contractor.

It received praise for its open-ended gameplay that diverges from the linear nature of its predecessors; critics also praised the story for its emotional power when dealing with war’s effects on children who have been raised through violence.”

Portal 2

In 2011, the original game Portal was released by Valve Corporation. The game was a huge success and received critical acclaim from gamers and critics alike. The sequel, Portal 2, was released in 2011 and continues the story of Chell as she attempts to escape from Aperture Science Laboratories (she still has not managed this yet). It is certainly one of the best video games ever made because it combines creative storytelling with amazing gameplay mechanics that make for an unforgettable experience.

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island is a platform game developed by Nintendo and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It was first released in August 24, 1995 in Japan, November 4th 1995 in North America, December 1st 1995 in Europe and 1996 elsewhere.

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island is a side-scrolling platformer game that follows Baby Mario and Baby Luigi as they travel across six worlds to reunite with their parents after being kidnapped by Kamek. The two brothers each have their own unique abilities: Baby Luigi can jump higher than normal while running on water but has less traction when walking or swimming; meanwhile Baby Mario can run faster than his brother but jumps lower off of enemies’ heads or floating platforms.

Grand Theft Auto V

Grand Theft Auto V is an action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It was released on 17 September 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles, on 18 November 2014 for the PC, on 14 April 2015 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, and was re-released on Microsoft Windows through Steam in January 2015.

In June 2014, Rockstar began teasing a new entry in the Grand Theft Auto series with a puzzle image that potentially contained a numerical countdown (which later became known as “the secret”). The game was officially announced at a special event held by Rockstar Games during E3 2013. Grand Theft Auto V is an open world action adventure video game played from either third or first person perspective which utilizes traditional imperative control schemes: players cannot commit crimes against non-player characters directly; however they can kill all pedestrians in sight to create police attention if they desire to do so, or steal vehicles when available.[4]

Halo 3

This game is the third installment in the Halo series and is a sequel to Halo 2. It was released on September 25, 2007. The game was developed by Bungie Studios and published by Microsoft Game Studios.

In Halo 3 you play as Master Chief who is a genetically enhanced supersoldier fighting an alien alliance known as the Covenant to save humanity from extinction with other soldiers from his unit called Spartans.
