Review of Call Of Duty 1

Introduction

Call of Duty 1 came out in 2003 and was the first game in a long-lasting series of games. The story starts out with you playing as a solider on the Russian front. This particular game takes place during World War 2, but the interesting thing is that the first Call of Duty was the first time gamers played a first person shooter from the perspective of an allied soldier. `

At this point in time, we’re still getting used to how FPS games work and what kind of experience they can give us. The original Call of Duty was especially important because it began to introduce some elements that are still popular today: modern weaponry such as assault rifles and pistols; realistic military tactics like flanking and hiding behind cover; fast paced gameplay where players had to constantly move around while firing their weapons at enemies (in contrast with slower paced games where players could stand upright and shoot long range weapons). These elements made it easier for gamers who were unfamiliar with FPS games before COD1 (like me) get into them quickly without feeling overwhelmed by all of these new concepts being introduced all at once!

Gameplay: The game has a large variety of weapons and vehicles to choose from. The gameplay was very smooth and responsive for an early 2000’s game. The level design also did not become repetitive throughout the campaign.

On top of that, the weapons and vehicles to choose from were numerous, which helped keep things interesting as you progressed through the game. The only downside would be that it wasn’t overly difficult to get through the campaign. It can be completed in about 6 hours by those who take their time and explore every corner of each map, but if you just want to get through it as fast as possible then it will probably take closer to 4 hours or so.

Graphics: For a game that came out in 2003, the graphics were quite good for the time. Although, if you compare it to modern games, it does look more cartoon-like than realistic.

The graphics are not as realistic as modern games because of the time period it was made in and also because of how much technology has improved since then.

However, despite being outdated in some ways, Call Of Duty 1 still looks really good compared to most other first person shooters out there today.

Difficulty: This game is usually not considered to be very difficult at all, but it does ramp up the difficulty as you progress through the campaign.

This game is usually not considered to be very difficult at all, but it does ramp up the difficulty as you progress through the campaign. The main problem with the game’s difficulty is that there are no difficulty settings. This means that if you are playing on hard, you will have no health regeneration or auto-aiming reticule. If this sounds like a deal breaker for you, don’t worry! There are plenty of people who play the game on hard with these settings and don’t have any problems doing so because they’re veterans of past Call Of Duty games so they know what they’re doing! However, if you’re new to this series then I would recommend starting off on normal or easy because it will teach you how each gun handles without getting frustrated by having no health regeneration and having an auto-aiming reticule at your disposal.

Call of Duty 1 is considered to be one of the most popular shooters of all time and paved the way for a series of other amazing shooters. The first Call of Duty was released on October 29th, 2003 for PC and later was ported over to Xbox 360 in 2005. It was developed by Infinity Ward, which is now known as Sledgehammer Games, who are also credited for creating Modern Warfare 2 & 3.

This game was revolutionary for its time because it was one of the first games that allowed you to play online with other people from around the world without worrying about lag or disconnections due to poor internet connections.

Conclusion

I highly recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of shooters, world war 2 games, or just someone who wants a good story. It is definitely worth checking out and it is dirt cheap on Steam.
