GTA3 for PC and Xbox is a video game that is rated M, meaning it’s meant for adults. It’s a crime game where you get to play as one of three characters: Claude, an immigrant from the Dominican Republic who works with Catalina; Carl “CJ” Johnson, an African American who returns home to Los Santos after his mother dies and finds his family in disarray; or Tommy Vercetti, an Italian-American convicted felon who receives parole on condition he performs several tasks for mob boss Sonny Forelli. The player must complete missions given by various characters while building their criminal empire.

The GTA series was released in 1997 by Rockstar Games (now owned by Take Two Interactive) on PCs running Microsoft Windows 95/98 operating systems (OS). In 2001 it was ported to other platforms including Linux OS, OS X 10.2 (Jaguar), PlayStation 2 (PS2) console system hardware manufactured by Sony Computer Entertainment Inc., GameCube console hardware manufactured by Nintendo Co., Ltd., Xbox hardware produced by Microsoft Corporation; Mobile Phones using J2ME MIDP 2.0 standard software platform technology such as Nokia Series 60 phones using Symbian OS v9 Series 60 3rd Edition phones or higher versions
