Where did my wedding ring go? Discovering a lot of candies under the bed. A Blog where a lady describes how she discovered her husband blown off the wedding ring while playing candy crush soda saga on his phone. It blew away,it is …..

Introduction

Maybe you have never been in the situation where your husband has a ring. Maybe you are in that situation now and feel like there is no way out. This is how I felt when I discovered my husband had a ring. It was the only thing he had ever kept from me, and it was devastating to see him with something else so soon after our wedding. What was worse was that his excuse didn’t make any sense at all! He said he found it under our bed while playing games on his phone… But how did this happen???

I was watching TV, munching popcorn and hanging out with my husband. Suddenly he got up and went over to the bedside. Leaning over the bed, he felt around underneath. When he pulled his hand back out, there was something shiny in it. I was shocked and horrified when I saw that it was a ring!

It was a woman’s wedding ring! The one that I had gotten married to him four years ago and have been wearing ever since then! I couldn’t believe it! Had he been cheating on me? Was this another woman’s wedding ring? How many other women had he been seeing? And why had he always been working late for the last two months? Why didn’t he want to make love to me anymore? My world began crumbling before my eyes as all these questions raced through my head. My heart started pounding in my chest.

I was shocked and horrified when I got home from work. The sight of my husband sitting on the couch, playing candy crush soda saga on his phone with a big smile on his face made me want to scream at him for being such an idiot! But I couldn’t do that because he would be angry at me. So instead, I silently walked up behind him and put my hand over his eyes while saying “Guess who?” He turned around, saw that it was me but didn’t say anything. Instead, he stood up, grabbed my waist and kissed me passionately! Then he said “I love you so much!”

“What happened?” I asked him.

He told me that the ring had blown away from under the bed when he had been vacuuming earlier in the day; then it fell behind some furniture where it remained until he found it again yesterday evening.” He explained with a smile on his face.”It’s just like in one of those games where hidden objects have been found!”

I knew that something was wrong with what he had just said because if someone loses an item like this then they would hardly call themselves lucky for finding it again after losing it once already.”But we’re talking about *wedding* rings here,”

“Honey, where did you get that?” I asked him in a shaky voice, tears welling up in my eyes.

He looked at me and smiled. “I found it on the floor and thought of you. You always say I never buy you anything, so this was for you.”

“But honey,” I said with an edge to my voice, “you know I have been wearing that ring since we got married three years ago.” At this point, he got a little nervous at my tone so he tried to shrug it off and play it off as if nothing had happened.

“What? This?” He held up the ring and looked at it sheepishly. Why was he acting like this wasn’t a huge deal? “Oh, I’ve had it for a few days now.”

“A few days!” She shrieked, her voice sounding like that of an injured animal’s. “Why didn’t you tell me?”

He shrugged, throwing the wedding band down on the bedside table as if it were nothing more than a cigarette lighter from McDonalds or something equally insignificant and utterly useless in comparison to having someone else’s body fluids on your hands for three whole days without so much as washing them off first before putting them back into contact with one’s wife (whose body fluids may also have been contaminated during this unsanitary period).

The event is an eyeopener for the wife. She should put her trust into him 100%.

Conclusion

I’m really hoping this story can help someone else out there who is feeling like they’ve lost the love and trust of their long-term partner. It’s not always what it seems, sometimes all we need to do is step back, take a deep breath and try communicating with each other. We don’t have to let our fears get in the way of happiness!
