The Game Release You’ve Been Waiting For

Whether you’re a gaming aficionado or the sort of person who only plays video games to escape from your parents during the holidays, there are new and upcoming video game releases that will make 2018 amazing. From “Call of Duty” to “Kingdom Hearts,” here are the games you need to know about in 2018.

Kingdom Hearts 3

Kingdom Hearts 3 is the long-awaited third game in the Kingdom Hearts series. It was released on January 29th, 2019 for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is a collaboration between Disney and Square Enix (the developers behind Final Fantasy), who have worked together to create an immersive world of action role-playing games set in the beloved worlds of Disney. This game will allow you to team up with characters from all over your favorite movies such as Aladdin, Hercules and Frozen while taking on enemies like Toy Story’s Woody or The Lion King’s Scar!

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the newest release in the Super Smash Bros. series and will be coming out on December 7th, 2018 on the Nintendo Switch. The game includes over 100 characters from different games ranging from Donkey Kong to Banjo-Kazooie. This title also introduces new features, like character customization options, new stages, and even an improved single player mode that supports both local and online play with a friend or family member!

Call of Duty Black Ops 4

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is the latest game in the Call of Duty franchise, and it’s scheduled to be released on October 12, 2018. It’s an FPS (First Person Shooter) game that will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms. This instalment has been developed by Treyarch.

It’s also worth noting that this will be the last Call of Duty game to be released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.

Red Dead Redemption 2

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an open world action-adventure video game developed and published by Rockstar Games. It was released on October 26, 2018 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, as well as for Microsoft Windows via Steam in early 2020. The game is a prequel to 2010’s Red Dead Redemption, and the second entry in the Red Dead series.

The story follows Arthur Morgan working his way through the ranks of Dutch van der Linde’s gang during an unspecified time period while seeking revenge against those who betrayed him years before. A number of similar mechanics are included from its predecessor where players can work together with various members of their gang while also hunting animals or interacting with random NPCs around town; most notably there are many more missions this time around where players can choose between being cooperative or aggressive when tackling them (if you’re interested).

Metro Exodus

A first-person shooter and survival horror game, Metro Exodus is set in the post-apocalyptic Russian wilderness. It’s the third installment in a series that began with Metro 2033 and its sequel, Metro: Last Light.

Metro Exodus will be available on February 15th—just over two weeks from now!

Resident Evil 2 Remake

Resident Evil 2 Remake is the remake of the classic game. It is a survival horror game, which means that it is a single-player experience where you fight off zombies while trying to survive the zombie apocalypse. As with most games in this genre, your character has limited ammunition and health points. If you run out of either, you can’t continue playing until you find more ammunition or health items (for example).

You play as Leon Kennedy or Claire Redfield in this single player game, which was released on January 25th 2019 for PS4/Xbox One/PC platforms. The developer behind this title is Capcom and they developed it as a sequel to their original Resident Evil 2 which first came out in 1998

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is the latest chapter in Ubisoft’s popular action-adventure franchise. This instalment takes place in ancient Greece, and you’ll be able to play as either a man or a woman.

The game was officially announced on June 10th 2018 with a trailer that contained some gameplay footage and revealed it will release on October 5th 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. It was also revealed that it would be set during the Peloponnesian War between Athens and Sparta (422 BC). The protagonist of the story is said to be an outcast mercenary named Alexios who finds himself at odds with his family after killing someone close to him without reason. A new character called Kassandra will also appear as well as their sibling Nikolaos; both live in Sparta during this period of time but have different personalities: one is more noble while another is more bloodthirsty; both however share similar backgrounds which make them sympathetic enough characters despite being antagonists later on in their lives when they meet up again after years apart – this happens when they’re grown adults so we don’t know how old they’ll both be exactly yet but judging by their looks alone we can say they look like teenagers still!

Death Stranding

Death Stranding is a game by Hideo Kojima, and it’s coming out on Playstation 4. That’s the gist of it.

Death Stranding is an action-adventure game, but what makes this different from other games of its genre is that there are no combat mechanics or traditional boss fights. Instead, you can use your character’s “strands” to create objects, send messages across distances and even travel through time itself. You play as Sam Bridges who works for a private military contractor named Armacham Technology Corporation (ATC). Your mission is simple: find out what happened to your squad after they went missing in action during a mission gone wrong in Afghanistan. The story centers around themes such as spirituality and human evolution as well as our connection with technology—which Kojima has been exploring since his earliest work on games like Snatcher back in the 1980s!

For all you comic book fans out there, Spiderman is a 2002 American superhero film directed by Sam Raimi, written by David Koepp, and starring Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker / Spider-Man.
