I always knew minesweeper was a game of skill, but never thought it would help me later in life. Seriously! This is a story of how I used minesweeper to get my dream job and give me the confidence to succeed in anything I want to do.

I’ve often thought that if I hadn’t played minesweeper for so long in my free time, I wouldn’t be able to solve problems as efficiently as I do now.

Minesweeper, in all its simplicity, does more than many other computer games. It doesn’t have fancy graphics or animations. It doesn’t explode with sound effects or play music that you can hum along to. But minesweeper has a unique ability to help people relax, pass time and focus their minds—a perfect combination for success!

The mechanics of minesweeper are simple enough: You start with a grid of squares and each square may or may not contain a bomb (you don’t know). Your goal is to mark every square that’s safe without stumbling upon any bombs (which would result in an explosion). As players progress through the game, they face increasingly difficult levels as more bombs are added into the grid.

As I mentioned before, this simple concept has had a positive impact on my life because it helped me learn how to focus better during stressful or hectic situations such as working on homework assignments for school or preparing for interviews at my job as an engineer at Intel Corporation.

When you play this game you can learn about who you are as a person by seeing how long it takes for your mind to calm down when faced with uncertainty in terms of knowing whether there are bombs hidden somewhere on the screen or not; additionally there’s also fun involved because there’s always something new happening every time we play which means there won’t ever be any monotony; finally winning prizes is also possible since occasionally players who complete certain challenges receive rewards like free downloads or gift cards!
