Coming Soon, Your TV. Netflix Yourself Right Into MineCraft!

Introduction

Hi everyone! I’m happy to share this blog post about my new book, “Coming Soon, Your TV. Netflix Yourself Right Into MineCraft!”

MineCraft is a sandbox video game created by Swedish developer Markus Persson

Minecraft is a sandbox video game created by Swedish developer Markus Persson and released in 2009 on PC, Mac, Linux. In the game, players build virtual realities out of textured cubes in a 3D procedurally generated world. Other activities in the game include exploration, resource gathering, crafting, and combat.

  • The world size is 86400 blocks from north to south by 4096 blocks from west to east (1 block = 1 meter).
  • The “Far Lands” phenomenon was removed from the PC version 1.2 update due to bugs occurring in these areas; however they still exist in all console versions of Minecraft up until today’s version 1.5 which includes them as part of their Creative Mode functionality where players can create their own worlds or use pre-made ones with different themes such as Forest or Desert etc…

In May 2009, MineCraft was released for the PC.

A couple of months ago, you would have been hard-pressed to find anyone who had heard of Minecraft. Today, it’s impossible to go anywhere on the internet without encountering references to the game. The game is so popular that even its creator Markus Persson has become a celebrity in his own right: he recently made headlines when it was revealed that he was selling his gaming company Mojang for $2.5 billion dollars (and yes, you read that right).

Nowadays there are multiple versions of the game available across different platforms including mobile phones and tablets as well as personal computers (or PCs). But despite all these different versions being available with varying degrees of success—for example, some people prefer playing Minecraft on their iPhone while others like playing on their Macbook Pro—there still hasn’t been any official release announcement from anywhere except Japan yet!

Since then, it has grown into one of the most popular video games of all time, with more than 126 million monthly active users across all platforms by the end of 2019.

If you’re not familiar with Minecraft, let me give you a brief history lesson. Minecraft was created by Swedish game developer Markus “Notch” Persson and first released on PC in 2009. Since then, it has grown into one of the most popular video games of all time, with more than 126 million monthly active users across all platforms by the end of 2019.

If you want to learn more about how this amazing game came to be and how it became so popular, check out our blog post here!

At the beginning of May 2009, Persson announced that he had set up a new game company, Mojang, with Jakob Porser, who had worked with him on Wurm Online.

At the beginning of May 2009, Persson announced that he had set up a new game company, Mojang, with Jakob Porser, who had worked with him on Wurm Online. Minecraft was officially released to the public on 17 May 2009 as an Alpha version; it costed only 15 USD at this time and you could buy it from minecraft.net

Mojang has now released minecraft for Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4 consoles!

On 28 September 2012, Microsoft acquired Mojang and the rights to MineCraft, for $2.5 billion.

Minecraft has been a massive success and is the highest selling PC game of all time. It’s success was only enhanced when Microsoft purchased the rights to Minecraft, for $2.5 billion in September 2012. The reaction from fans and critics alike was mixed, some were worried that Microsoft would ruin their beloved game with microtransactions or ads, but so far Mojang has remained independent from Microsoft and kept their promises about keeping the game free of microtransactions and adverts.

But how has Minecraft evolved since its purchase? Well it’s now much more than just a single player sandbox game; it comes with multiplayer options, cooperative gameplay modes (with cross platform support), user generated content like skins and mods as well as interactive minigames created by developers throughout the world—all accessible via mobile devices!

The original “Survival Mode” gameplay has expanded to more than 100 million players each month

If you’re a fan of the open-world sandbox game feel, then you probably already know that MineCraft was first released in 2009. It has since grown to more than 100 million players each month and is now owned by Microsoft. In case you aren’t familiar with it, MineCraft allows players to build things using blocks in a 3D world. Players can also fight monsters, mine for resources (like diamonds) and craft tools using those resources. After years of playing on desktop computers or laptops, this new Netflix version will allow fans to enjoy the game on their TVs at home without having to buy additional gadgets like controllers or remotes — which makes sense considering how much time we all spend watching Netflix these days!

MineCraft was available on Netflix in-game years ago when Mojang partnered with Telltale Games to bring it to Xbox Live Arcade, but this will be its first foray onto the big screen.

Netflix is a popular online media streaming service. It’s available on many platforms, including smart TVs and game consoles. Netflix is the largest subscription-based streaming service in the world, offering a wide variety of different shows and movies for you to enjoy.

Netflix was founded in 1997 by Reed Hastings and Marc Randolph. The company started as an online DVD rental store, but it now offers much more than that—it also provides TV shows, movies and even original content!

After playing for a few minutes, you’ll soon realize that the possibilities in MineCraft are infinite.

As soon as you start playing MineCraft, you’ll realize that the possibilities in the game are infinite. You can build anything from a simple hut using wooden planks to a grand mansion using marble and gold. You can explore the world with your friends or go it alone. You can also play with friends on teams or go it alone; each player has their own inventory and there’s no limit on how much each player can carry at one time so there’s plenty of room for everyone’s stuff!
