Best Xbox 360 Games For a Competitive Gamer

Introduction

The Xbox 360 is one of the most popular gaming consoles out there. I’ve been playing on it for over half a decade now, and even though I have a pretty big collection of games, there are still some that I go back to again and again—and will likely play until the day I die. These are my favorite competitive games for when you want to bring your A-game (no one likes a sore loser!):

Halo 3

Halo 3 is the third installment in the Halo series, and it’s also the first game to feature online multiplayer. It was released in 2007 by Bungie.

The game follows Master Chief as he fights against Covenant aliens, who are trying to take over Earth. The player controls Master Chief’s actions with an Xbox controller while viewing his movements through a first-person perspective on their TV screen or computer monitor.

Gears of War 2

  • Set in a post-apocalyptic future, Gears of War 2 is about a war between humans and the Locust Horde. The game follows Delta Squad—a team of soldiers who fight against the Locust Horde—as they try to save their planet Sera from the Locust Horde.

The game has many great features, including:

  • Multiplayer mode that allows you to play with up to five friends at once
  • Online multiplayer games with more than twenty different maps

Call of Duty Black Ops

Call of Duty Black Ops is a first-person shooter video game developed by Treyarch and published by Activision. It is the seventh major installment in the Call of Duty series and the first to be released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Microsoft Windows. The game was announced on February 9, 2010, after numerous rumors regarding its existence.

Call of Duty Black Ops is set during the Cold War era with battles taking place in various locations across Earth’s surface and in outer space. The campaign begins in East Germany where Alex Mason’s son David is kidnapped by his former friend Viktor Reznov (voiced by Gary Oldman). As Mason attempts to rescue his son from HVI scientist Dr Kravchenko’s Siberian labor camp as well as learn about Reznov’s experiences during World War II at Vorkuta prison camp; he also learns that he has been used as an unwitting test subject for an advanced interrogation technique called SERE (Survival Evasion Resistance Escape); which involves being subjected to torture for military purposes without breaking down psychologically or physically.

The main antagonist has been identified as Raul Menendez who seeks revenge against America after losing everything he loved due to their actions throughout history including his father being killed during Operation Just Cause.

Battlefield Bad Company 2

The Battlefield Bad Company 2 is a first-person shooter game set in a fictional modern-day war. It includes a single-player campaign, multiplayer mode and co-operative mode. The game is developed by DICE, who is also responsible for developing the latest Battlefield games such as Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 5.

The campaign takes place in 2020, while the multiplayer mode supports up to 24 players online with over 100 different vehicles available to them (including helicopters). Players can choose from four classes: Medic, Engineer, Assault and Recon when they start playing this game on Xbox 360 console.[2] The class system allows them to customize their character according to their preferences.[3]

The third person multiplayer doesn’t allow players with same characters or classes; therefore you need some time before finding out which one fits your play style best.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, you play as Sergeant John “Soap” MacTavish, a member of the British S.A.S., and as part of Task Force 141. The game’s campaign is set in the year 2011, with the player assuming the role of a U.S. Marine named Sergeant John “Soap” MacTavish who works alongside Captain Price and Gaz to hunt down Makarov while simultaneously fighting off Soviet forces in Afghanistan. The game has a diverse cast of characters that includes many familiar faces from previous iterations like SgtMajGen Shepherd (the main antagonist) and SgtPaul Jackson who serves as Soap’s right hand man throughout his journey across Eastern Europe where he encounters plenty of enemies along way such as Russian oligarchs working for Makarov or extremist groups who also want him dead for various reasons – including one group known for hunting animals/people with their bare hands just so they can eat them… yikes!

FIFA 10

FIFA 10 is a game that can be played competitively, casually and with friends. It’s also perfect for those who are into solo gaming.

FIFA 10 is one of the best football games on any platform, so if you’re a fan of soccer or football (as it’s known around the world), this is definitely one to add to your collection if you haven’t already played it.

FIFA 11

FIFA 11 was released in 2010 and was the first game to include the Champions League. It also included the UEFA Euro Cup, which was held in Austria/Switzerland that year. Finally, it featured Copa America, which took place in Argentina.

FIFA 12

There are a lot of football games out there. There’s Madden, and the NBA 2K series, and even soccer games like PES. But FIFA 12 is the best game for competitive gamers who want to play as their favorite team or player.

FIFA 12 also has a great multiplayer mode that lets you play against friends online. If you’re looking for an easy way to get some exercise while playing video games—and don’t mind spending hours in front of your TV—FIFA 12 might be just what you’re looking for!
