5 Awesome Video Games Coming Out This Fall

Introduction

You know the feeling: you spend months looking forward to a game that’s coming out, only to be let down by it when it’s finally released. That hasn’t happened to me in years because I’ve been ridiculously lucky with my choices, but I think I’m going to have a stroke or something if it happens again soon. The fall is always an amazing time for new releases and this year is no exception. Here are five titles that look like they’ll set the world on fire when they come out:

Forza Horizon 3

Forza Horizon 3 is a racing game developed by Playground Games and published by Microsoft Studios for the Xbox One, released on September 27, 2016. It’s the third entry in the Forza Horizon series, after Forza Horizon and Forza Horizon 2. This time around, you’ll be able to explore Australia as well as other countries around the world. There are hundreds of vehicles available to drive in this game including cars from Ferrari and Lamborghini that you can purchase with credits earned while playing or using real money. The online multiplayer mode allows players to join up with friends or strangers online to race against each other across various environments at night or during the day while trying not to crash into one another along the way!

Gears of War 4

Gears of War 4 is another game that’s set in the same universe as its predecessors, but it features a new story and characters. The main protagonist, JD Fenix, must lead his friends to combat the new threat of monsters called “The Swarm”. You can play as either JD or Kait Diaz (his female counterpart), who have each been given their own unique abilities that help them fight off enemies. In addition to this, Gears of War 4 also lets you play as other characters like Del Walker and Marcus Fenix from previous games if you want!

Gears of War has always been known for its brutal gameplay so don’t expect anything less from this latest installment – expect plenty of gore with your action-packed shootouts across various locations like abandoned cities or mysterious underground facilities filled with hidden secrets waiting for players to discover them!

Pokemon Sun and Moon

The Pokemon franchise is coming out with two new games: Sun and Moon. The games will be released on November 18, 2016. Sun and Moon are both available for the Nintendo 3DS handheld console.

Sun and Moon (the first two versions of this generation) are sequels to Pokémon X/Y, which were released in 2013. In addition to the usual gameplay mechanics, you can expect a lot of new features as well as some old ones that have been updated or changed for the better! These include:

  • New Pokemon (over 150)
  • New Features, including Z-moves (a special attack that can only be used once per battle), Festival Plaza where you can battle your friends online or locally, Trainer customization options like clothing items and clothes color combinations etcetera).
  • New Mechanics such as “Decision Time” where after winning a battle against wild Pokemon they will ask randomly if they want to catch them or not; also there is now an additional mechanic called “Horde Encounters” where instead of fighting one wild Pokemon at a time at random locations throughout Alola Region there will now often be more than one at once! Multiples means more opportunities to catch rarer creatures like Legendaries! This makes up for having less encounters overall since each encounter has become more exciting now 🙂
  • New Region: Alola Region – home island region where all trainers grow up learning how important it is when working together with others so everyone has access equally without prejudice because that’s how life should always work everywhere else too when possible 🙂

Mafia 3

Mafia 3 is a third-person open world action game set in 1968 New Orleans. It’s the third title in the Mafia series (following Mafia 2 and The Godfather), but it isn’t considered a sequel to either of those games. Players take on the role of Lincoln Clay, an orphan who was adopted by Sammy Robinson and grew up with him as his father figure. As an adult, Lincoln becomes involved with the local mob and eventually rises through the ranks to become one of their most prominent leaders. He then sets out on a bloody revenge spree after Sammy dies at the hands of Marcano family boss Sal Marcano. In addition to being an open world game where you can explore freely, Mafia 3 also features plenty of shooting mechanics: you’ll be able to shoot from cover using various firearms or melee attacks such as kicking enemies off buildings into traffic below them (or onto spikes if they’re standing close enough).

Titanfall 2

Titanfall 2 is an upcoming first-person shooter video game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. It is the sequel to 2014’s Titanfall. The game will be released on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 28, 2016.[11]

The story follows Jack Cooper, a rifleman in the Frontier Militia who becomes a Pilot after he bonds with a new Titan named BT-7274.[12][13] Set in a science fiction universe where humans have colonized planets orbiting stars other than our Sun[14], players control both Cooper and BT as they combat sentient machines known as Titans.[15]

There are multiple gameplay modes including multiplayer where players fight each other using various types of mechs called “Titans” which can be customized with different weapons and abilities; single player campaign mode where players play as Jack Cooper or his mentor Sarah Briggs fighting against rogue mechanical forces; co-op mode where two players can team up either locally on one console or online via multicore support.
