Susan Panico, former Senior Director of PlayStation Network, has decided to leave Sony Computer Entertainment America.
Sony spokesman Patrick Seybold has confirmed Panico’s departure, stating “We can confirm Susan has left SCEA. We thank her for her considerable contribution to our business and wish her every success in the future.”
Panico oversaw the growth of the PlayStation Network for the last five years, including the network’s growth to 77 million users and the addition of television shows and movies to PSN. It was also under her watch when the network shutdown for six weeks after a hacking attempt.
