Places to visit with kids favorites from our family

Introduction

Hi there! Are you looking for places to go with the family? You’ve come to the right place. We’ve collected our favorites here, so you can check them out and plan your next trip with your kids. We hope you find something that works for your family.

Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World is a great place for families. There are lots of things to do and see, including:

  • Rides and shows
  • A water park
  • Restaurants and hotels (including character dining)

There are four parks at Walt Disney World: Magic Kingdom; Epcot; Hollywood Studios; and Animal Kingdom.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is one of the best places to visit if you are a Disney fan. You can see a lot of the characters up close and personal. This park has a lot of rides for kids, and lots for adults as well. The best part about this park is that it has fireworks every night at 8:45 p.m., so make sure you get there early enough to enjoy them!

Universal Orlando Resort

Universal Orlando Resort is a theme park resort in Florida. The resort is home to three theme parks, including Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay. The resort also includes a water park and a night-time entertainment complex, CityWalk.

Universal’s two main parks, Universal Studios and Island of Adventure (IOA) are both huge theme parks with many rides and attractions. Both are full of things you can do with your kids! If you want to go to one or both of these parks during your visit I recommend getting an annual pass if you plan on visiting more than once during your trip because it will save you money over buying tickets each time you go through the gate!

Warner Brothers

Warner Brothers is home to the Harry Potter theme park, where you can visit the amazing castle and see a 3D movie. There’s also an incredible special effects studio that replicates famous movie scenes, like when James Bond flies through the air on his motorbike.

There are stores, cafes and restaurants all over this place! They even have their own hotel and bowling alley!

Miami Seaquarium

Did you know that the Miami Seaquarium is a great place to visit with your family? If you are looking for an all-day activity, this is it! This attraction has something for everyone: dolphin shows, rides and play areas, restaurants, shops and more.

Let’s start with the dolphins! You can watch their show at 12:00pm daily or swim with them in their lagoon. If swimming isn’t your thing then check out their water park which has slides, tube rides and more for kids of all ages. Kids also enjoy riding on trains through exhibits of sea lions and manatees as well as other animals such as otters and sharks.

If you get hungry from all of this excitement then stop by one of their two onsite restaurants where you can grab lunch or dinner before heading home again.

Miami Science Museum

There are so many activities at this museum. You can learn about science and technology, space, dinosaurs, the human body, the human brain and much more! There is something for everyone at this museum!

The kids can even be a scientist and conduct experiments using robotics. The kids will love being able to try it out themselves!

Kids will also be able to explore many different areas of space including: rocks from the moon; samples from Mars; meteorites found on Earth (including one that landed in Russia); various planets such as Mercury & Venus; an asteroid belt that has chunks of rock from different asteroids (you get to pick which one you want to look at closely); images taken by probes orbiting other planets; models showing how big some planets are compared to Earth. It’s amazing how big some things really are out there in space!

Another cool thing about this place is getting up close with some pretty impressive creatures – like dinosaurs!! There’s even a Tyrannosaurus Rex which seems like it could be alive because it looks so realistic! I’m sure you’ll enjoy seeing all kinds of animals walking around here too such as tigers & bears too 😉

The Miami Zoo

The zoo is located on the edge of downtown Miami, and it offers a great day trip for families. The best thing about this zoo is that it offers a wide range of wildlife experiences. You can see everything from rare animals like pythons, alligators and manatees to more common ones like zebras and polar bears. There are also many local birds, including flamingos!

The zoo is open daily from 9am-5pm; admission is $20 for adults and $10 for children ages 2-$12 (prices may vary depending on the season). Free parking is available inside the entrance gate area; there’s also an outdoor picnic pavilion available if you want to bring food or drinks with you (no alcohol allowed). Admission includes access to both indoor exhibits as well as several outdoor areas where you can interact with some animals directly. One notable feature: some of the larger snakes have sensors under their glass enclosures so they’re able to sense when someone approaches them — they’ll strike at these sensors which causes their head or tail tip (depending on what part) will come out through holes in their enclosure so they can “see” who’s there!
