If you haven’t heard, there’s a new update to Minecraft that adds a host of new features. We’ve written about them previously, and we’ll be covering them in coming months as well. Minecraft is a sandbox game that allows players to build constructions out of textured cubes in a 3D procedurally generated world. The player takes on the role of an unnamed character who was born in the game world. The objective of the game is to explore and survive the world while avoiding hostile mobs, such as zombies and skeletons.
Minecraft has various gameplay modes: survival mode, where players must acquire resources; creative mode, where players have unlimited resources to build with; adventure mode, where players play custom maps made by other users; spectator mode where you can watch other people play Minecraft but not interact with them at all.
