Once you get there, Lester will ask you to get rid of the van by blowing it up. Drive back out onto the road and then hit another car. This will give you two stars on your wanted meter. When cops start showing up, drive away from them until you lose them. Then keep going till you’re away from cops and the big circle on your radar turns blue again.

Now pull over and go stand in front of the van for a second or two. When it explodes, it will give you 3 stars on your wanted meter again (because blowing up a vehicle is considered an attack against an officer). Drive away from this explosion so that your wanted meter goes down again. Then just drive around until it turns blue again.
