Pele was named FIFA’s Player of the Century and was awarded an honorary Ballon d’Or award for his services to football at FIFA’s awards ceremony held on January 9th 2008. In 1999 he received an award from Time Magazine as one of 100 most influential people of 20th century for inspiring generations with his skills as a footballer and his dedication towards helping those less fortunate than himself through charity work with UNICEF

Zindine Zidane

“Zidane is a French former professional football player and current manager of Real Madrid.

He played as an attacking midfielder for the France national team, Cannes, Bordeaux, Juventus and Real Madrid. Zidane was named the best European footballer of the past 50 years in the UEFA Golden Jubilee Poll. His honours include three FIFA World Player of the Year titles (1998–2000), Serie A Footballer of the Year (2001), Golden Ball for Europe’s top player (2002) and UEFA Champions League Most Valuable Player award (2002).

After his playing career ended he became assistant coach at Real Madrid under Carlo Ancelotti for two seasons.”

Ronaldo is a Brazilian footballer who won the World Cup 5 times and the Golden Ball award 5 times. He also won the Golden Boot award 5 times, as well as the Best FIFA Men’s Player Award in 2018. Ronaldo has been at the top of his game for nearly two decades, making him one of the greatest players ever to take to a field or court. Members of this team include Carlos Alberto, Cafu and Roberto Carlos (Brazil); Paolo Maldini (Italy); Ferenc Puskas (Hungary); Didier Deschamps (France); Diego Maradona (Argentina); Luis Figo (Portugal).

Franz Beckenbauer

Franz Beckenbauer is considered one of the greatest players of all time. He was mainly a defender, but he also played as a midfielder, and he was captain of the German national team from 1968 to 1972. He played for Bayern Munich from 1964 to 1977 and won the World Cup in 1974. In addition to being captain of both his club and country, Beckenbauer was also named European Footballer of the Year twice (1972, 1976), making him one of only five players to ever win that award more than once, along with Ronaldo (1996–1997), Zinédine Zidane (1998–2000), Kaká (2006–2007) and Lionel Messi (2009–2010).

Ferenc Puskas

Ferenc Puskás is one of the most famous football players in history. He was born on October 22, 1927 in Budapest, Hungary. Puskas played for Kispest AC and Budapest Honved (both clubs were based in Budapest). He played his first international match against Czechoslovakia at age 18 years old. In 1952, he won Olympic gold and became the top scorer of The World Cup with 9 goals scored that year – a record which still stands today!

He then went on to represent both Spain and France before retiring from professional soccer altogether!

Garrincha

Garrincha (1933-1983) was a Brazilian soccer player. He played for Botafogo, Corinthians, Santos, and Flamengo in Brazil before moving to Europe to play for Anderlecht and PSV Eindhoven. He won the World Cup with Brazil in 1958 and 1962. He was named the best player of both tournaments by FIFA. In 1970 he was voted as runner up with Pelé as best player of that tournament by FIFA. Four years later he was again named winner of this award after leading his team to win their third world cup title over Italy at Wembley Stadium in London.

In total Garrincha played 73 games for Brazil scoring 34 goals which makes him one of their most capped players ever.

Bobby Charlton

Bobby Charlton is an English football player. He is a retired English footballer who played for Manchester United and the England national team and was part of the 1966 World Cup winning team. He won the World Cup in 1966, as well as being awarded the OBE in 1995 and being awarded the FIFA Order of Merit in 2004.

Miroslav Klose

Miroslav Klose is a retired German footballer who played as a striker. He scored a record (at the time) 16 World Cup goals and won the Silver Boot in 2002. Klose is also the only player to win four World Cup Golden Boots, having done so in 2002, 2006, 2010 and 2012.

As well as his achievements on the pitch, Klose was also known for his off-field charity work with numerous organizations including Unicef and SOS Children’s Villages Germany.
