Introduction
Excited to buy some video games for your kids? But not sure which games are safe and entertaining? This blog will help you out. We have a list of the best video games for kids that are rated E for everyone. Keep reading below to find out what our top choices are!
Nintendo Switch.
The Nintendo Switch is a hybrid console, meaning it can be used both as a home console and as a portable console. It’s Nintendo’s 7th generation of consoles, succeeding the Wii U and preceding the Nintendo Switch Lite. The Nintendo Switch was released in March 2017, which means that even though it’s not quite ten years old yet (the PS4 was released three months later), it’s due for an upgrade or two soon enough!
The Nintendo Switch doesn’t have any buttons on its body like previous models; rather, all controls are located on its screen or within reach of your fingers. It comes with detachable Joy-Con controllers (made up of joysticks and buttons) that can be connected by sliding them onto either side when you want to play on-the-go but separated when you want to play from your TV at home. This makes it easier than ever before for children under 10 years old who might not have mastered how exactly how holding controllers works yet!
In addition to being convenient for younger players who prefer handhelds over desktops, this model also includes many other features that might appeal more towards older children such as wireless internet connectivity so they could download new games from their favorite game developer company like Electronic Arts Inc., EA SPORTS™ FIFA 19 Ultimate Team Edition etcetera ad infinitum
Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is an upcoming life simulation game. It’s a sequel to the original Animal Crossing game and it’s out on March 20, 2020.
This game is only available on the Nintendo Switch platform. The rating is E for Everyone, which means that it’s safe for kids of all ages to play.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons has received high praise from critics and players alike due to its appealing gameplay mechanics, charming aesthetic and general fun feel while playing!
New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe
New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is a fun game that has been remastered with new features and characters. The game takes place in the Mushroom Kingdom, where Mario and Luigi are trying to save Princess Peach from Bowser’s castle.
The gameplay is similar to most other Mario games, but there are some new features added such as being able to play as Toadette or Nabbit instead of just Mario and Luigi. There are also new power ups like the Super Bell Flower which gives you the ability for temporarily floating through the air with it’s flower petals or the Ice Flower which lets you shoot ice balls at enemies or objects to freeze them so they can be destroyed by jumping on them again later (this is useful when trying not only finish levels faster but also get more coins).
The best part about this video game though would probably have something do with its graphics which look very colorful and nice looking overall compared to some other games that seem dull-looking sometimes because certain colors don’t go together well at all (like pink & blue together). Another plus point would definitely be how fun it can be playing multiplayer where multiple people could join together regardless whether they’re all using consoles simultaneously online! The only downside really…
Overcooked! 2.
Overcooked! 2 is a game for 1-4 players that you can play with your kids. It’s also great for adults, couples and families looking to get in some fun time playing video games together.
In Overcooked 2, you play as chefs who have to serve customers while navigating dangerous obstacles like fire and hungry monsters. Your goal is to collect ingredients around the level (e.g., by chopping down trees) and then cook them into delicious meals (e.g., by using a microwave). You may have played this game before when it was first released in 2016 but now it has been updated with new features such as local multiplayer support so that multiple people can play on the same device without having to purchase two copies of the game!
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is one of the best video games for kids. It’s a racing game that is fun for kids and adults alike, especially when played in groups. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a racing game for the Nintendo Switch, which allows players to play on their TV or in handheld mode. This is great news because you can play anywhere with this game!
While there are many games that require an internet connection or need your parents’ permission to access online content, this isn’t one of them—at least not yet anyway! You don’t need parental permission at all because it doesn’t have any mature elements other than some mild cartoon violence (if your kid watches cartoons). Your child can start playing right away without having to wait until they’re older or anything like that!
