Did you miss the original DS release of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor back in 2009? Planning on getting a 3DS? You’re in luck, because Atlus is re-releasing the game for the 3DS, with enhanced graphics and voice acting, among other new features.
Although few details on the new game, titled SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked, have yet been leaked, including a firm release date, Atlus has revealed a handful of new screenshots, which you can find below.
For those unfamiliar with the game, the premise is this:
Tokyo is in full lockdown, the government’s swift, coldblooded response to a surprise demon invasion. While you and your friends must solve the nature of the interdimensional rift through which the horrific creatures are entering your world, saving the world is not your highest priority; staying alive, on the other hand, is.

Although the game has been rumored to lack 3D functionality, it still looks great, and the voice acting will only enhance the experience. Hopefully Atlus will reveal more details soon as to what new features veterans can expect to find for a second playthrough. VG will keep you up-to-date as the vague Summer 2011 release date draws closer.
