During their Pokemon Direct broadcast, Nintendo announced the latest entries in the popular series. Pokemon X and Pokemon Y both will be available worldwide (excluding some countries) for the Nintendo 3DS at some point in October of this year. The new entries will bring new Pokemon and cities to the Pokemon universe.
Nintendo did share the names of the three new starter Pokemon: the Grass-type Chespin, the Fire-type Fennekin, and the Water-type Froakie. In the broadcast, we also get a glimpse at two legendary Pokemon who bare some resemblance to the X and Y parts of the new Pokemon titles. In the video, you can see a few in-game screenshots that showcase the 3D world.
Stay with us as we continue to bring you the latest on the newest entries in the Pokemon series.
