After selling over a million copies on launch day, it looks like the money is still rolling in, as Nintendo of America revealed via twitter that the two games have sold a total of 2 million copies in the first two weeks of availability. With five million units already sold in Japan, that means 7 million games in the hands of grubby Pokémon addicts in just those two regions.
These sales figures prove you don’t have to change too much if the formula works. Stay tuned for our review of the game, in case you’ve been holding out. Considering I’m playing right now as I write this, I’d say I’m not surprised by its success.
