For some time now, PlayStation and select Sony TV owners have been able to check out PlayStation Now, a game-streaming rental service offered by Sony. During the open beta that began in July of last year, PS Now gave gamers an ever-growing library of titles to play. Prices range $1.99 to $19.99, depending on the length of the rental you wanted. Today saw an announcement regarding a monthly subscription for PS Now, along with details on the cost if you subscribe one month or three months at a time.
Starting on January 13th, you will be able to subscribe to PS Now for $19.99 a month, or $44.99 for three months, and you will have unlimited access to the 100+ titles now available within the library. PS Now looks to be Sony’s answer to services like GameFly. Celebrating the launch of this subscription service, those who download a free PS Now theme for their PS4 before January 31st will be entered into a chance to win a year-long subscription for PS Now.
