Yesterday, Microsoft held an event inviting press to check out one of the most anticipated games of the year, Gears of War 3. During the event it was announced that the beta would start around mid-April, presumably for the people who purchased Bulletstorm. Along with the beta announcement, they also revealed the new cover art for the game. Fans of the game will also have an opportunity to decide on some of the maps that will make it into the final game, to vote on what you would like to see, head over the Gears of War facebook page. It seems like its the most polished Gears of War to come along, and hopefully that will show when the game is released September 20th, 2011.
