According to Adjust’s annual gaming app insights 2025 report, the Philippines saw a 4 percent increase in installs and a 9 percent rise in sessions in 2024, making it the top-performing country in the region.

The report also showed that Indonesia recorded a 21 percent growth in installs and a 6 percent rise in sessions, while India posted a 2 percent increase in installs and a 1 percent drop in sessions.

Gaming in the Asia Pacific region remains a key driver of global gaming growth, with its mobile game installs rising 4 percent year on year in 2024 despite a 3 percent dip in sessions. “The mobile-first adoption continues to accelerate, and its developers and marketers are focusing on building sustainable success in this dynamic industry,” said April Tayson, Adjust regional vice president.

In terms of regional session lengths, APAC had a slight increase with users logging in for an average of 34.84 minutes per session in 2024 compared to 34.32 minutes in 2023.

Indonesia recorded the longest gaming sessions in 2024, with an average of 44.31 minutes, followed by the Philippines at 43.4 minutes and Singapore at 39.14 minutes. These findings highlight the growing importance of session length and player engagement in the gaming industry, and the need for marketers to focus on building long-term relationships with their players. Key trends in the mobile gaming industry globally in 2025 include:
