The follow-up title to the January 2010 puzzle game Bad Apples is currently being developed by Metaversal Studios for the iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad. The original title surpassed one million downloads recently. Bad Apples: Battle Harvest is planned to be released in late spring 2012 on the iOS with an Android version following soon after.
The sequel will bring new features to the match-three gameplay of Bad Apples. There will be more targeted challenges and goals than in the first. Also, Bad Apples: Battle Harvest hopes to engross players into a captivating plotline via the Story Mode. New heroes and villains will highlight the improvements in character design and art style.
The original title had an impressive fanbase across many countries and the Metaversal Studios team hopes that the sequel will fare better as it has much more to offer.
“We listened to the feedback from our players and are bringing a new focus on production values, humor and depth to Bad Apples: Battle Harvest while keeping the fun and addictive gameplay elements they loved from Bad Apples,” said Metaversal Producer Dave Landry.
